Georgia High School Volleyball - Upson-Lee tips Lamar County

September 18, 2025: Thomaston, GA 30286

In Thursday's non-league test, the host Upson-Lee Knights volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Lamar County Trojans.

With the win, Upson-Lee improves its record to 16-16 on the season. The Knights host Luella (Luella, GA) to face the Lions in a 3A Area 1 test on Tuesday, September 23. The Lions go into the test with a record of 0-11. Luella lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Howard (Macon, GA)

The Trojans now own a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Griffin for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. Lamar County will face a Bears squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA). The Bears record now stands at 4-13.
