The Mansfield Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Providence Academy Patriots to 1 in the Tigers league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now have a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elkins for a 3A 1 game on Tuesday, September 23. Mansfield will confront a Elks squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Prairie Grove (Prairie Grove, AR). The Elks record now stands at 4-6.
The Patriots (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Life Way Christian (Centerton, AR). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 2-5 record. In their last outing, Life Way Christian was topped by Ozark Catholic Academy (Springdale, AR), 3-1, in a league outing.
