In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Morton Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers.
The Panthers (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Pisgah (Sandhill, MS). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Pisgah went down by Union (Union, MS), 3-0, in a league test.
The Tigers now sport a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pisgah for a Class 3A Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, September 23.
