Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Northside Patriots (Columbus, GA) and the visiting Mundy's Mill Tigers (Jonesboro, GA), observed Northside's volleyball team top Mundy's Mill by a tally of 2-0.
The Patriots (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Tigers enter the 4A Area 3 contest with a 26-9 record. In their last challenge, Harris County beat Troup County (LaGrange, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers play the Heritage Patriots (Conyers, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 22. Mundy's Mill will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record.
