In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Unity Christian Academy Warriors volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners.

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mount Calvary Christian Academy (Hookerton, NC). The Warriors come into the MACAA 1A South test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Mount Calvary Christian Academy went down by Terra Ceia Christian (Pantego, NC), 3-0, in a league test.

The Mariners now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Christian for a MACAA 2A test on Tuesday, September 23. Pamlico Christian Academy will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
