South Carolina High School Volleyball - Powdersville over St. Joseph's Catholic

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Powdersville Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the St. Joseph's Catholic Knights.

The Patriots (8-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC). The Sabres come into the AAA Region 1 challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Southside Christian beat Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the Christ Church Episcopal Cavaliers (Greenville, SC) in a AAA Region 1 test, on Tuesday, September 23. St. Joseph's Catholic will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Cavaliers go into the test with a 7-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Palmetto (Williamston, SC).
