Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Seminary Bulldogs (Seminary, MS) and the host Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS), observed Seminary's volleyball team top Raleigh by a count of 3-0.

The Bulldogs (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS). The Jaguars enter the Class 3A Region 6 contest with a 3-8 record.

Next, the Lions meet the Magee Trojans (Magee, MS) in a Class 3A Region 6 battle, on Monday, September 22. Raleigh will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Trojans go into the battle with a 2-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to Jefferson Davis County (Bassfield, MS).
