California High School Volleyball - Rio Mesa trounced by Ventura

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Ventura Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Rio Mesa Spartans.
The Cougars (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Pacifica (Oxnard, CA). The Tritons come into the Channel challenge with a 8-8 record.
Next, the Spartans meet the Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA) in a Channel challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. Rio Mesa will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Chargers go into the test with a 2-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA).
