In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Troup County Tigers volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Spalding Jaguars.
Next up, the Tigers face the Heard County Braves (Franklin, GA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 23. Troup County will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Braves go into the game with a 17-15 record after their 2-1 league loss to Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA).
The Jaguars (1-13) will now prepare for their game against Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA). The Patriots come into the 3A Area 2 outing with a 6-16 record. In their last outing, Sandy Creek lost by Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA), 2-1, in a league outing.
