With the win, West Marion improves its record to 14-8 on the season. The Trojans travel to Salem (Tylertown, MS) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, September 22. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 16-4. Salem won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS)

Next, the Fighting Irish meet the Resurrection Catholic Eagles (Pascagoula, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 23. St. Patrick will attempt to upgrade on its 20-13 season record.
