Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA) and the visiting The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins (Palmdale, CA), observed Vasquez's volleyball team hold off The Palmdale Aerospace Academy by a count of 3-2.

The Mustangs (8-13) will now prepare for their contest against Palmdale Academy Charter School (Palmdale, CA). The Jaguars go into the battle with a 0-14 record.

The Griffins now own a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Clarita Christian for a Heritage battle on Tuesday, September 23. The Palmdale Aerospace Academy will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-8.
