Union City Golden Tornadoes (Union City, TN) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Westview Chargers (Martin, TN), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Golden Tornadoes (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Humboldt (Humboldt, TN). The Vikings come into the A District 13 challenge with a 0-5 record. In their last challenge, Humboldt lost by Lake County (Tiptonville, TN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chargers face the Gibson County Pioneers (Dyer, TN) in a non-league test, on Monday, September 22. Westview will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Pioneers go into the test with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 league win over South Fulton (South Fulton, TN).
