The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) and the host Reseda Regents (Reseda, CA), saw Kennedy's volleyball squad nip Reseda by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Kennedy upgrades its record to 4-2 on the year. The Cougars host Sylmar (Sylmar, CA) to play the Spartans in a bout on Monday, October 3. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 8-8.

The Regents now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sylmar for a bout on Monday, October 10.
