Next, the Cougars confront the Monessen Greyhounds (Monessen, PA) in a WPIAL A 2 challenge, on Wednesday, September 21. Charleroi will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 5-2 league win over Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA).

The Gladiators now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Waynesburg Central for a WPIAL A 2 challenge on Wednesday, September 21. South Allegheny will confront a Raiders team coming off a 6-1 league win over Charleroi (Charleroi, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-1.
