Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), 2-0 in a league game.

The Hillmen now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a game on Wednesday, September 21. Placer will meet a Fighting Zebras team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA). The Fighting Zebras record now stands at 0-2.

The Bruins (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen enter the game with a 7-2 record.
