The Turner Ashby Knights volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Staunton Storm to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.
The Knights now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monticello for a non-league game on Monday, September 26. Turner Ashby will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-2.
The Storm (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators enter the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Riverheads was nudged by Rappahannock County (Washington, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
