The crowd at Monday's league test between the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) and the host Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC), saw Highland Tech's soccer squad triumph over Bessemer City by a margin of 9-1.

The Rams now sport a 3-3 record. They play next when they host East Gaston for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A test on Wednesday, September 21. Highland Tech will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Bessemer City drops to 0-8 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC) to meet the Rebels in a non-league test on Thursday, September 22. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 2-8. West Lincoln lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Newton-Conover (Newton, NC)
