Next, the Cougars confront the Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A challenge, on Wednesday, September 21. Carson will attempt to better on its 5-3 season record. The Spiders enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 6-3 league win over Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC).

The Knights now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Rowan for a South Piedmont 3A challenge on Wednesday, September 21. Lake Norman Charter will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-10.
