The crowd at Monday's league test between the Centralia Orphans (Centralia, IL) and the host Mt. Vernon Rams (Mt. Vernon, IL), saw Centralia's soccer squad knock off Mt. Vernon by a count of 4-2.

The Orphans now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Marion for a South Seven test on Tuesday, September 20. Centralia will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Massac County (Metropolis, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Mt. Vernon drops to 1-8 on the season. The Rams travel to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 24. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 7-4.
