Nevada High School Soccer - Hug nudges Galena

Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Hawks face the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) in a 5A North challenge, on Wednesday, September 21. Hug will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Raiders enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Sparks (Sparks, NV).

The Grizzlies now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Carson for a 5A North test on Wednesday, September 21. Galena will meet a Senators squad coming off a 1-1 league Damonte Ranch (Reno, NV). The Senators record now stands at 1-3.
