Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Wellsboro held off by Montoursville

The Montoursville Warriors held off the host Wellsboro Hornets soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Monday's non-league match.

The Warriors now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Central Columbia for a Heartland II match on Tuesday, September 20. Montoursville will encounter a Bluejays squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Bluejays record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Wellsboro drops to 6-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to North Penn-Liberty (Liberty, PA) to encounter the Mountie in a North Tier match on Wednesday, September 21. The Mountie come into the match with a record of 2-7. North Penn-Liberty lost 4-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Montgomery (Montgomery, PA)
