The Lutheran Lions softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Air Academy Kadets to 0 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Lutheran moves its record to 14-1 on the year. The Lions host Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Red-Tailed Hawks in a 4A Pikes Peak game on Wednesday, September 21. The Red-Tailed Hawks come into the game with a record of 8-9. Cheyenne Mountain lost 14-4 in their recent league game against Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO)

In their next game, the Kadets play the Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak game, on Wednesday, September 21. Air Academy will attempt to move on its 10-5 season record. The Rangers come into the game with a 10-7 record after their 10-8 league loss to Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO).
