The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) and the visiting Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), saw Pepperell's softball squad nip Murray County by a count of 10-5.

The Dragons now sport a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Trion for a 1A D-I Region 7 match on Tuesday, September 20. Pepperell will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-2 non-league loss to Bowdon (Bowdon, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Murray County falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Indians host Pepperell (Lindale, GA) to face the Dragons in a non-league match on Thursday, September 22. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 11-2. Pepperell won 2-0 in their recent league match against Trion (Trion, GA)
