The DePaul Catholic Spartans volleyball team (Wayne, NJ), was nudged 2-1 in Monday's league challenge with the host Academy of the Holy Angels Angels (Demarest, NJ)

The Angels (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Immaculate Heart Academy (Washington Township, NJ). The Blue Eagles enter the Big North - United challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Immaculate Heart Academy nipped Paramus (Paramus, NJ), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Fort Lee Bridgemen (Fort Lee, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 21. DePaul Catholic will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bridgemen enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ).
