Georgia High School Volleyball - Union County over Andrews

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) and the visiting Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), saw Union County's volleyball squad beat Andrews by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 11-13 on the year. The Panthers host East Jackson (Commerce, GA) to play the Eagles in a 2A Area 8 bout on Tuesday, September 20. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-10. East Jackson won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, GA)

The Wildcats now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Highlands for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 22. Andrews will play a Highlanders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-7.
