Illinois High School Volleyball - Liberty Brown County

The Brown County Hornets topped the visiting Liberty Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mendon Unity for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 20. Brown County will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Augusta Southeastern (Augusta, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 14-3.

The Eagles (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Pleasant Hill (Pleasant Hill, IL). The Wolves enter the Western Illinois Valley test with a 1-11 record. In their last test, Pleasant Hill was knocked off by Pittsfield (Pittsfield, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
