Tennessee High School Volleyball - Cherokee routed by Volunteer

The Volunteer Falcons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Cherokee Chiefs to 0 in the Falcons non-league victory on Monday.
The Falcons now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elizabethton for a AA District 1 game on Tuesday, September 20. Volunteer will meet a Fighting Cyclones team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN). The Fighting Cyclones record now stands at 7-12.
The Chiefs (5-14) will now prepare for their game against Greeneville (Greeneville, TN). The Green Devils enter the AA District 2 game with a 15-3 record. In their last game, Greeneville defeated Morristown-Hamblen East (Morristown, TN), 3-1, in a non-league game.
