The Christiansburg Blue Demons held off the host Floyd County Buffaloes volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's non-league test.

The Blue Demons now have a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a River Ridge test on Tuesday, September 20. Christiansburg will confront a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 10-1.

The Buffaloes (2-4) will now prepare for their test against James River (Buchanan, VA). The Knights enter the Three Rivers test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, James River was nudged by Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
