In Monday's non-league battle, the host Leadership Academy Falcons volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Clover Garden School Grizzlies.

The Falcons (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC). The Cardinals come into the Northwest Piedmont 1A battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Cornerstone Charter lost by Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Grizzlies clash with the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a Central Tar Heel 1A battle, on Tuesday, September 20. Clover Garden School will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 8-3 record after their 3-0 league win over River Mill (Graham, NC).
