The Encinal Jets volleyball team (Alameda, CA), was dropped 3-0 in Monday's league challenge with the host Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA)

The Highlanders (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA). The Trojans enter the West Alameda County - Foothill challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Castro Valley defeated San Leandro (San Leandro, CA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Jets meet the Alameda Hornets (Alameda, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge, on Wednesday, September 21. Encinal will attempt to move on its 1-9 season record. The Hornets enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Berkeley (Berkeley, CA).
