The Lowell Red Raiders held off the visiting Lawrence Lancers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Monday's league test.

The Red Raiders now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dracut for a Merrimack Valley II test on Wednesday, September 21. Lowell will confront a Middies team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA). The Middies record now stands at 0-5.

The Lancers (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Haverhill (Haverhill, MA). The Hillies enter the Merrimack Valley II game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Haverhill nipped Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA), 3-0, in a league game.
