In Monday's non-league contest, the Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Thomas Walker Pioneers (Ewing, VA), by a margin of 3-1.
Next up, the Generals battle the Central Wise Warriors (Norton, VA) in a Mountain 7 contest, on Tuesday, September 20. Lee will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Gate City (Gate City, VA).
With the loss, Thomas Walker moves to 5-3 on the year. The Pioneers host Eastside (Coeburn, VA) to battle the Spartans in a Cumberland contest on Tuesday, September 27. The Spartans go into the contest with a record of 4-6.
