The Westhampton Beach Hurricanes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Miller Place Panthers to 0 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Monday.

The Hurricanes now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverhead for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 20. Westhampton Beach will meet a Blue Waves team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Longwood (Middle Island, NY). The Blue Waves record now stands at 1-5.

The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Eastport-South Manor (Manorville, NY). The Sharks enter the non-league game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Eastport-South Manor gained a win over Comsewogue (Port Jefferson Station, NY), 3-0, in a league game.
