The Pine Grove Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Shamokin Area Indians to 0 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Monday.
The Cardinals now possess a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Our Lady of Lourdes Regional for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 20. Pine Grove will meet a Red Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pottsville (Pottsville, PA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-3.
The Indians (4-2) will now prepare for their game against South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA). The Mountaineers enter the PIAA District IV game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, South Williamsport was dropped by Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
