In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the William Campbell Generals.

The Statesmen (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Raiders come into the James River battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Amelia County achieved victory over Cumberland (Cumberland, VA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Generals encounter the Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) in a Dogwood battle, on Tuesday, September 20. William Campbell will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Colonels come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Gretna (Gretna, VA).
