The Menchville Monarchs topped the host Denbigh Patriots volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Monarchs now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage for a Peninsula test on Thursday, September 21. Menchville will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-4.

The Patriots (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Phantoms enter the Peninsula test with a 0-8 record. In their last test, Phoebus was knocked off by Warwick (Newport News, VA), 3-1, in a league test.
