The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA) and the visiting Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA), saw Del Oro's volleyball squad nip Whitney by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Del Oro upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Golden Eagles host Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA) to play the Trojans in a bout on Thursday, September 21. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 10-4. Oak Ridge won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA)

The Wildcats now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Folsom for a bout on Wednesday, September 20. Whitney will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-3.
