The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals (Montebello, CA) and the host Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA), saw Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary's volleyball squad nip Paraclete by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary upgrades its record to 6-3 on the year. The Cardinals host St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA) to play the Mariners in a bout on Thursday, September 21. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 4-1. St. Monica won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Faith Baptist (Canoga Park, CA)

The Spirits now own a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Taft for a non-league bout on Monday, October 9.
