The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Charlottesville Black Knights (Charlottesville, VA), saw Monticello's volleyball squad beat Charlottesville by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Monticello upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Mustangs host Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-2.

The Black Knights now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Louisa County for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 21. Charlottesville will play a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.
