The Gobblers come into the match with a 7-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).

With the loss, Turner Ashby drops to 1-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA) to battle the Blue Streaks in a non-league match on Thursday, September 21. The Blue Streaks come into the match with a record of 6-3. Harrisonburg won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA)
