The Freeman Mavericks topped the host Godwin Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mavericks now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glen Allen for a non-league test on Monday, September 25.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their test against Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA). The Hawks enter the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Hanover was knocked off by Atlee (Mechanicsville, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
