With the win, J.H. Rose upgrades its record to 11-1 on the year. The Rampants host West Carteret (Morehead City, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 20. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-4. West Carteret lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Swansboro (Swansboro, NC)

The Rams now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host New Bern for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 21. Havelock will play a Bears squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 1-8.
