North Carolina High School Volleyball - Jackson Day can't hold off Queen's Grant

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Queen's Grant Stallions volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Jackson Day Mariners.
The Stallions (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Grace Academy (Matthews, NC). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Grace Academy was edged by Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Mariners encounter the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 28. Jackson Day will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Patriots come into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC).
