The West Stokes Wildcats volleyball team (King, NC), was nudged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC)

The Phoenix (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 0-10 record. In their last challenge, North Forsyth was nudged by Morehead (Eden, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 20. West Stokes will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over North Wilkes (Hays, NC).
