The Mid-Carolina Rebels topped the host Newberry Bulldogs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rebels now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Abbeville for a non-league test on Thursday, September 21. Mid-Carolina will confront a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Ninety Six (Ninety Six, SC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Batesburg-Leesville was knocked off by Strom Thurmond (Johnston, SC), 2-0, in a league test.
