The Warhill Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Smithfield Packers to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tabb for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 20. Warhill will meet a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Grafton (Yorktown, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.

The Packers (4-3) will now prepare for their game against New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Trojans enter the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, New Kent was nudged by Poquoson (Poquoson, VA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
