Wayne County Cardinals (Monticello, KY) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Somerset Christian Cougars (Somerset, KY), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals confront the Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 23. Wayne County will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Colonels enter the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 5-2 league loss to Oneida Baptist Institute (Oneida, KY).

The Cougars now have a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Model for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 21.
