Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA) and the host Academy of Richmond County Musketeers (Augusta, GA), witnessed Salem's softball squad prevail over Academy of Richmond County by a count of 27-6.

The Seminoles now sport a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Cedar Grove for a non-league match on Thursday, September 21. Salem will face a Saints squad coming off a 17-0 non-league loss to Miller Grove (Lithonia, GA). The Saints record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Academy of Richmond County moves to 0-13 on the season. The Musketeers host Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to face the Golden Hawks in a non-league match on Thursday, September 21. The Golden Hawks go into the match with a record of 14-3. Washington County lost 12-1 in their recent league match against Thomson (Thomson, GA)
