The Charlton County Indians softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Atkinson County Rebels to 0 in the Indians league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Charlton County improves its record to 6-5 on the year. The Indians host Echols County (Statenville, GA) to clash with the Wildcats in a 1A D-II Region 2 game on Thursday, September 21. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 3-6. Echols County lost 7-3 in their recent league game against Turner County (Ashburn, GA)

In their next game, the Rebels clash with the Clinch County Panthers (Homerville, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 game, on Wednesday, September 20. Atkinson County will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 5-10 record after their 15-0 league loss to Lanier County (Lakeland, GA).
