In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Tift County Blue Devils softball team scored a close 4-0 win over the Cairo Syrupmakers.
Coming up next, the Blue Devils battle the Northside Eagles (Warner Robins, GA) in a 6A Region 1 outing, on Wednesday, September 20. Tift County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 2-11 record after their 12-4 non-league win over Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA).
The Syrupmakers (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Trojans enter the non-league challenge with a 10-7 record. In their last challenge, Lee County was routed by Lowndes (Valdosta, GA), 10-7, in a non-league challenge.
